In its statement, T-POWERS also addressed various claims about Kuraki’s experiences while she was alive that began circulating on social media following news of her death.
1. Agency Addresses Claims That Hana Kuraki Was Hurt
T-POWERS said it was aware of some of the information circulating about Kuraki’s experiences before her death, including claims involving disputes with certain individuals.
The agency stressed that it is taking the information it has been able to confirm extremely seriously. T-POWERS also expressed deep pain at the thought that Kuraki may have experienced harm and suffering during her lifetime.
The agency further said it felt “strong anger” toward the series of actions referred to in its statement.
However, T-POWERS did not provide details about the specific incidents it was referring to. The agency also did not confirm each of the allegations circulating online.
2. Alleged Conflict With a Kabukicho Host
Discussion surrounding Kuraki’s private life intensified after the Japanese social media account 「エンターテイナー折原」 shared a number of claims about experiences she allegedly went through.
One of the claims concerned Kuraki’s relationship with Kabukicho male host Shota Taira (平良翔太). The account alleged that conflicts involving violence and threats may have occurred during their relationship.
Other claims also involved financial issues and overseas work allegedly connected to Kuraki’s life.
However, these details currently come primarily from social media allegations. While T-POWERS has officially confirmed Kuraki’s death, its latest statement did not specifically verify the various allegations circulating online.
As a result, the circumstances surrounding the claims remain unclear, and further clarification or information from the parties involved will be needed.
3. Agency Says Family and Kuraki’s Privacy Come First
T-POWERS said it would prioritize the feelings of Kuraki’s family, as well as her dignity and privacy, when handling the situation going forward.
The agency said it would verify relevant circumstances only to the extent necessary and, if required, cooperate with the appropriate parties and take suitable action.
T-POWERS also said it would carefully consider how to handle specific information currently in its possession, communications with Kuraki’s family and other relevant individuals, and whether further details should be disclosed publicly.
Kuraki made her debut in 2024 and quickly gained attention for her appearance. Her career was still developing when news of her death emerged.
The news of Kuraki’s death first surfaced through a Japanese social media account before being officially confirmed by T-POWERS. The agency’s confirmation has left fans and people in the industry shocked and grieving.
Amid the various claims circulating online, it is important to distinguish between information that has been officially confirmed and allegations that remain unverified. As of T-POWERS’ latest statement, Kuraki’s death has been confirmed, while details concerning alleged violence, threats, psychological distress, financial issues, and overseas work have yet to be fully clarified.
