LayarHijau – South Korean coser Yasal has drawn widespread attention on social media after a video showing her kissing a female fan at an anime event in Guiyang, China, went viral. In the video, Yasal, dressed as Taihou from the game Azur Lane, can be seen holding the fan’s cheeks before kissing her on the lips while posing for a photo together.
The video quickly spread across social media platforms, attracting attention from internet users in several countries. The interaction also surprised many viewers, who found the kiss unusually intimate for a photo session between a coser and a fan at an anime event.

Yasal Clarifies Who She Kissed in the Viral Video
As comments and speculation about the incident spread online, Yasal responded directly in the comments section of the viral video on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Yasal clarified that the person she kissed was a female fan. She also explained that the kiss was not initiated by her but was requested by the fan while they were taking a photo together.
Through her explanation, Yasal hoped to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings about what happened. Some internet users subsequently speculated that she might offer similar interactions exclusively to female fans. However, there has been no confirmation that Yasal restricts such interactions based on the gender of her fans.
Yasal Is Known for Being Attentive to Her Fans
The kissing video was not the only moment involving Yasal and her fans to circulate online. On her official Bilibili account, several attendees also shared photos they had taken with the coser at the event.
Some fans described Yasal as someone who goes out of her way to please her supporters and readily accommodates their requests. She is said to be willing to pose in unusual ways for photos and make funny facial expressions or perform silly antics for videos.
Her friendly and accommodating attitude has helped her build a strong following in China. In recent years, Yasal has frequently attended events in the country and become popular among local cosplay enthusiasts.
Coser-Fan Interactions Draw Attention Amid Growing Competition
The viral video has also prompted discussion about competition within the cosplay industry. Some internet users in China and overseas have pointed out that the growing number of anime events and cosers in recent years has made it increasingly challenging for individual cosers to stand out.
With so many cosers attracting attention through their appearances, distinctive interactions that offer fans a memorable experience can become an additional draw. Unusual moments like these can also spread rapidly on social media, reaching audiences far beyond the event itself.
In Yasal’s case, the video attracted attention because it showed an unusually intimate interaction between a coser and a fan. Her clarification that the kiss was requested by the fan also provided context for the moment that had captured widespread attention online.
