LayarHijau — Zhao Lusi recently attended a public event and instantly recognized a special fan in the crowd. The fan had been diagnosed with leukemia and has since recovered. The two posed for a cheek-to-cheek photo, fulfilling a promise that had been delayed by about a year and a half.
The fan was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia about a year and a half ago. As a result, her long-awaited plans to meet Zhao Lusi in person and attend a concert fell through. After learning of this, Zhao Lusi sent her a private message of encouragement. She urged the fan to focus on her treatment and promised to arrange concert tickets whenever she recovered, as a gift for fighting the illness.

At the time, Zhao Lusi also praised the fan as a “wonderful Chinese girl.” She told her there was no need for regret because she would always be there for her.
That kindness became an important source of emotional support during the fan’s long treatment. After going through round after round of therapy, her condition improved until she recovered, and her hair slowly grew back. She then showed up to keep the promise that had been delayed for more than a year.
At the event, Zhao Lusi recognized the fan at a glance and gently asked, “Are you doing okay?” The words instantly set off excitement among the crowd. She also asked about the fan’s follow-up checkup results, reminded her to take care of her health, and said she was happy to see her looking well. Zhao Lusi then leaned in for a cheek-to-cheek photo, her eyes full of warmth.
The hashtag “Zhao Lusi recognized her in the crowd at a glance” quickly made it onto the trending search list. Netizens commented:
“It turns out love really can give people strength.”
“This is what a healing, two-way connection looks like.”
Zhao Lusi has long been known for her sincerity toward fans. Her actions this time again show her down-to-earth personality and lack of airs.
