In May, Hana reportedly told Taira that she wanted to end their relationship, leading to a heated confrontation. During the dispute, Taira allegedly took two of Hana’s iPhones.
Hana reportedly chased after Taira as he drove away in a Maybach and was allegedly dragged by the vehicle, suffering injuries to her face and chin.
She later shared photos of her injuries publicly in June and announced that she would temporarily suspend activities marking the second anniversary of her debut. At the time, Hana also accused the person involved of failing to properly address the injuries she had sustained.
The incident has resurfaced following reports of her death.
Alleged Final Message Circulates Online
A piece of writing said to have been left by Hana before her death has also been circulating online.
In the alleged message, Hana reportedly claimed that someone had taken her earnings without her permission. She also said the person knew her family’s home address, leaving her feeling as though she had nowhere to escape.
The message allegedly described a prolonged period of violence and threats. Hana reportedly said she was too afraid to contact the police and continued receiving unwanted messages through LINE even after the relationship ended, leaving her under severe emotional strain.
The alleged statement ended with Hana thanking her fans for supporting her throughout her career and describing them as an important source of strength.
The authenticity of the message, however, has not been independently verified. Its contents therefore remain unconfirmed.
Friend Recalls Hana’s Struggles
A male host named Sakito, who reportedly helped deal with matters after the incident, has also spoken about Hana’s final situation.
Sakito said he was not the first person to discover Hana. He reportedly rushed to the scene after being contacted by one of her friends and later tried to reach Taira.
According to Sakito, Taira said he was in a meeting and could not come immediately, adding that he would be able to arrive roughly two hours later. Sakito subsequently helped police handle matters at the scene.
Sakito also said Hana had previously confided in him about problems in her relationship with Taira on multiple occasions. He said her conversations and emotional state gave him the impression that she had been under significant pressure for a long time.
Hana’s reported death has now prompted renewed scrutiny of her past, particularly the injuries she publicly documented in June and the alleged statement circulating online.
Still, the claims involving violence, financial pressure and the circumstances surrounding her death have yet to be fully established. Further details will depend on the authorities’ investigation and official statements from those involved.
