The rumor climbed to the trending topics list on Weibo, China’s largest social media platform, under a hashtag that translates to “Exposing the Current State of Song Weilong’s Love Life.” The source was a person described as a close friend of Si Xiaodi and a former staff member at an entertainment company.
Si Xiaodi is an influencer from Shandong Province, China, who is around 30 years old and known as a beauty content creator. She first gained wide attention in September 2024, when actress Xin Yuxi exposed alleged infidelity by her ex-boyfriend Qin Xiaoxian, and Si Xiaodi was named as a party involved in the case.
Si Xiaodi’s name resurfaced in early 2026. According to Chinese media reports, she claimed to have close relationships with more than 10 male celebrities, including Lu Han and Fan Chengcheng, and posted screenshots of conversations and photos as “evidence.” The celebrities named have reportedly denied the claims, some of their studios said they would take legal action, and her original account was reportedly banned by the platform.
Asked about Song Weilong’s relationship with a woman he referred to as a “rich young lady” (da xiaojie, a common Chinese term for a daughter of a wealthy family), the source said the relationship would continue unless the woman ended it. He added that if he were the one dating her, he would certainly treat her well and coax her patiently. The woman’s identity was not disclosed.
Sina Entertainment then asked Song Weilong’s staff for confirmation. In an exclusive response, the studio issued a firm denial. “What was said is entirely fabricated. The person involved is suspected of infringing on the artist’s right to reputation. The studio has retained lawyers to collect evidence of the content and related information, and will take the necessary legal steps to protect the artist’s rights,” a studio representative said.
According to Lizhi News, as cited by Sina, the studio’s lawyers have finished collecting evidence on the content in question. Song Weilong’s national fan club also shared the denial and urged fans and netizens not to readily believe false information.
Several commentaries on Sina noted that the claim consisted only of verbal statements, with no photos together or videos as proof. Some Chinese netizens also urged the public to wait for an official statement and pay more attention to the actor’s work.
This is not the first time Song Weilong’s team has responded to similar rumors. According to reports circulating online, the studio previously said information about a woman rumored to be the actor’s girlfriend was untrue, and his lawyers have reportedly won a defamation lawsuit against a Weibo user.
Song Weilong began his career in 2015 and is signed to Huanyu Film. He is widely known for the drama Go Ahead (以家人之名) and recently returned to the spotlight with Shine On Me (骄阳似我), an adaptation of a novel by Gu Man, in which he stars alongside Zhao Jinmai.
In its statement, the studio did not detail what legal steps it will take or who they will be directed at.
