LayarHijau – Chinese actress Jing Tian has broken her silence amid renewed speculation over surrogacy and a civil lawsuit filed by cryptocurrency entrepreneur Sun Yuchen against her and her parents.
In a statement cited by Sohu Entertainment, Jing Tian said she would never sacrifice love or her principles for money. “In the past, now, and in the future, I will never sell my love for money, let alone sell my soul,” she said.

Jing Tian also acknowledged that she has made mistakes in judging people and making decisions. Even so, she said she still believes in love. “I still believe in love. I still have poor judgment, and I still lack wisdom,” she said.
She went on to say that she continues to have faith in the law, kindness, and the belief that justice will eventually prevail. “I believe in the law, I believe in kindness, and I believe that justice and fairness will ultimately prevail. Time will prove everything,” Jing Tian said.
Her statement comes as her past relationship with Sun Yuchen has once again drawn public attention. The two reportedly dated for more than seven months and had reached the stage of discussing marriage. Their families were also said to have met before the relationship came to an end.
After their breakup, Sun Yuchen filed a lawsuit against Jing Tian and her parents over a financial dispute involving more than 30 million yuan, or approximately US$4.2 million. His lawyer, Zhang Qihuai, said the money was related to cai li, a traditional marriage-related payment.
According to Zhang, the lawsuit does not involve surrogacy. The case has been accepted and registered by the court, but proceedings on the merits have not yet begun because Jing Tian’s side has raised an objection concerning the court’s jurisdiction.
The surrogacy controversy resurfaced after Sun Yuchen published a lengthy post titled “我的女友景甜,” or “My Girlfriend Jing Tian,” on August 27. In the post, he gave his version of their relationship and made several claims about plans to have a child through surrogacy and disputes over money.
Sun Yuchen claimed that the surrogacy plan was proposed by Jing Tian and alleged that the two later became embroiled in a financial dispute while she was in Los Angeles for a procedure related to egg retrieval. He also claimed that Jing Tian had asked him for US$50 million.
However, those details come from Sun Yuchen’s personal account and have not been established as facts by a court. The post was also labeled as a work of fiction, meaning its claims should be treated as allegations from Sun Yuchen rather than proven facts.
Jing Tian’s side had previously denied the surrogacy rumors and said it would address the matter through legal channels. As of now, there has been no court ruling determining which side is in the right in the dispute.
