LayarHijau – TRON founder and crypto entrepreneur Sun Yuchen (Justin Sun) has suddenly changed his tone in his ongoing dispute with Chinese actress Jing Tian. After publicly detailing his alleged relationship with the actress and saying he had filed a lawsuit against Jing Tian and her parents to recover 30 million yuan in engagement money, Sun has now called for a “ceasefire.”
On August 29, Sun posted another statement on X, saying he would no longer prolong the matter. He described his earlier lengthy post as a way of putting his past experiences into words and finally letting them go.

“Nineteen years, from a blurry photograph to a light that has gone out. I wrote this for myself, and also for those who, like me, were still living in a dorm in 2007,” Sun wrote.
Sun used the metaphor of leaving a house to describe the end of the relationship. He said that once someone has left, the light eventually has to be switched off and the door locked.
He also acknowledged that his decision to make the details public had upset Jing Tian.
“The sound of the light being switched off disturbed Ms. Jing. That was not my intention. I hope she is well. I hope that the days ahead have nothing to do with these words,” Sun wrote.
He stressed that he no longer wanted to determine who was right or wrong in their relationship.
“There are no judges in a relationship. Two people come together, and then each goes their own way. I still don’t have an answer for what happened in between, and I don’t think I need one,” he said.
Sun then made it clear that he intended to leave the dispute to the legal process.
“I am not on either side. This matter ends with me. This is an ordinary civil property dispute, and it has already entered the legal process. I respect the court, I respect the proceedings, and I respect all of the other party’s rights. Whatever the outcome, I will accept it,” Sun wrote.
Sun Yuchen Previously Detailed His Relationship With Jing Tian
Sun’s change in tone came just one day after Jing Tian publicly addressed the controversy for the first time.
Earlier, Sun published a lengthy post on X titled “My Girlfriend Jing Tian,” in which he described what he said was the history of their relationship.
He claimed that he had been secretly in love with Jing Tian for years and that their relationship eventually progressed to the point where they discussed marriage.
Sun also claimed that he had paid 30 million yuan in engagement money. According to his account, their relationship later broke down over expenses related to a surrogacy arrangement overseas.
He alleged that Jing Tian asked for an additional US$50 million before undergoing an egg retrieval procedure. Sun said he refused, and the relationship eventually ended.
Sun subsequently said he had hired prominent lawyer Zhang Qihuai to take legal action against Jing Tian and her parents, seeking to recover the 30 million yuan in engagement money.
These claims come from Sun’s own account and are part of the dispute that he says has now entered the legal process.
Zhao Changpeng Urges Sun Yuchen to Avoid Personal Attacks
The controversy also drew a response from Zhao Changpeng, better known as CZ, the founder of Binance and a major figure in the crypto industry.
In a post on X, CZ urged Sun not to let the dispute escalate into personal attacks against Jing Tian.
“Marketing can be aggressive, but there is no need to exploit it or turn it into personal attacks, even to the point of damaging someone’s future career,” CZ wrote.
He also suggested that taking the matter directly to court would be preferable to publicly revealing unnecessary personal details.
“Going straight to court is also better than disclosing unnecessary details. Hopefully this can be resolved properly. Mutual respect!” CZ added.
Sun responded publicly, agreeing with the advice.
“Thank you, CZ. You’re right. Mutual respect, resolve it properly, and leave the rest to the court. I won’t say anything more,” Sun replied.
Meanwhile, Jing Tian addressed the controversy for the first time on August 28. In her response, the actress touched on the relationship between love and money and said she would not sell her love or soul for money.
Sun Yuchen has now said he will stop discussing the details of his relationship with Jing Tian and leave the dispute to the legal process.
