During the show, Zhang Linghe was seated next to legendary South Korean actress Lee Young Ae. The two briefly interacted during the event, and their exchange soon went viral after Lee Young Ae reportedly complimented him by saying he was “very handsome.”
The warm interaction between the two Asian stars sparked major discussion across social media, with many netizens praising their elegant chemistry despite the short conversation.
Ahead of the fashion show, Zhang Linghe also attended a pre-show dinner alongside several international celebrities. There, he reunited with Thai actress Mai Davika. Since it was their second time appearing together at a Gucci event, fans jokingly nicknamed them the “wealthy sibling duo returns.”
Notably, Zhang Linghe reportedly learned about Mai Davika’s birthday during last year’s event. This year, he specially prepared a handmade “ruyi” ornament as a gift, symbolizing good fortune and blessings.

Throughout the livestreams, Zhang Linghe appeared relaxed and chatted casually with fans. He also addressed the long-running topic about his habit of tilting his head in group photos. Because of his tall height, he often bends down to match other people’s height in pictures. This time, he joked, “At least I didn’t get scoliosis this time,” making viewers burst into laughter.
He also shared a funny story about arriving in New York and being escorted by large bodyguards. Zhang Linghe laughed as he described feeling like he was “flying in the air” because the guards were so much bigger than him.
