LayarHijau – Chinese actress Zhao Lusi is once again making waves—not only due to her public fallout with her agency, but also because of an unexpected viral moment during her August 3 livestream. While speaking openly about her emotional state, Zhao Lusi was seen eating a bowl of noodles, and it didn’t take long for fans to track down the exact noodle shop behind the dish.
The shop’s owner, Mr. Liu, expressed sincere gratitude to the actress when interviewed by Xiaoxiang Morning News. “It’s just like people online are saying—it’s a blessing from the heavens. Zhao Lusi really brought us this good fortune,” he said, describing the scene at his shop as chaotic in the best way. “It felt like a train station during Chinese New Year.”

Before the livestream went viral, the noodle shop averaged about 30 orders a day. But in just half a day after the broadcast, orders surged to 80. Liu had to set up extra tables and chairs outside to accommodate the long line of eager customers.

Most of those who showed up were Zhao Lusi’s fans—some even traveling great distances just to taste the same noodles she ate. “We had people from Inner Mongolia, from Anhui… there was even a father who drove with his child for what must have been 30 hours or 3,000 kilometers—I forgot the exact figure,” Liu said. “Her fans are all so polite, kind, and caring, even toward strangers. I truly hope Zhao Lusi can continue being a light in people’s lives, no matter how hard things get.”

The noodles weren’t the only thing fans were after. Zhao Lusi’s outfit from the livestream also sparked a frenzy. Fans quickly identified the exact hat, glasses, clothes, and bag she was wearing. Some of the items sold out within hours, and in certain stores, they were taken down completely due to overwhelming demand.
Yet despite the excitement, Zhao Lusi’s emotional tone during the livestream raised concerns among fans. Her sudden outburst against her agency led many to worry about a possible relapse of depression symptoms, which she reportedly suffered from last year due to overwork.
In response, veteran actress Zeng Li—who has played Zhao Lusi’s mother in several dramas including Love Like the Galaxy (星汉灿烂·月升沧海) and Hidden Love (偷偷藏不住)—reportedly reached out to show her support. Although they are more than 20 years apart in age, the two have formed a strong bond off-screen. During Zhao Lusi’s serious health scare last year, Zeng Li was said to be by her side, offering care and emotional support throughout her recovery.
This incident highlights once again the massive cultural and economic influence Zhao Lusi holds—not just as a popular actress, but as a trendsetter who can move markets and mobilize fans with a single bite of noodles.
