After dinner, the young man gently took Sun Qian’s arm, and they walked while chatting. From their interactions, it seemed that their relationship is quite close.
Sun Qian’s studio then released a statement: “The video shows a dinner outing with friends; please do not over-interpret it. We apologize for the false rumors that have sparked discussion and speculation. We have always firmly opposed the act of secretly filming and spreading rumors, and we reserve the right to pursue legal action. Please immediately stop spreading out-of-context quotes. Let us respond to the call of the ‘Clear and Bright’ campaign. We look forward to seeing new works soon.”
From the comments on Weibo, some users believe that the mysterious man in the video is a close friend of Sun Qian.
These rumors surfaced amid the intense promotion of Sun Qian and Johnny Huang’s new drama, Love Song in Winter. The two previously participated in the variety show Hello, Saturday to promote the drama.
Sun Qian was also rumored to have a romantic involvement with her co-star from the drama Her Islands, Chen Jingke. This rumor emerged earlier this year when they were spotted returning to the same apartment complex.
