According to Sohu Entertainment, Chen Jingke was seen getting out of a car and entering the hotel first. The three women accompanying him followed a short while later.
More than two hours later, a man escorted Chen Jingke out of the hotel, after which the actor returned home.
Reports also noted that Chen Jingke was not wearing a mask when he arrived at the hotel. However, his presence with the three women does not, in itself, establish that there was a romantic relationship between them.
Chen Jingke’s Studio Says Gathering Was with Old Friends
In its statement, Chen Jingke’s studio explained that the actor had attended a meal with elementary school friends he had known for 20 years.
“A gathering for a meal with elementary school classmates who have known each other for 20 years, and sharing a ride because they were heading in the same direction,” the studio stated.
The studio also rejected reports that it considered an exaggeration of the actor’s private life and the presentation of information out of context.
“We reject the malicious amplification of private life and the taking of things out of context, and firmly oppose the spreading of rumors,” the studio emphasized.
