Tai Le was one of the earliest men linked to Sun Qian after they were spotted together following their 2021 drama. Zhang Xincheng was later linked to her after they played a couple in All These Years. Then came Chen Jingke, whose alleged relationship with Sun Qian became the most widely discussed of the three.
There was also a mystery man who was photographed with Sun Qian in 2024 and again became the subject of speculation in 2025. Her studio later clarified that he was simply a friend who lived in the same residential complex.
So, who are the men who have been rumored to be Sun Qian’s boyfriend?
Tai Le
Sun Qian’s first major dating rumor was linked to actor Tai Le after the two starred together in the 2021 drama Remembrance of Things Past (《我在他乡挺好的》).
Sun Qian played Xu Yan, while Tai Le portrayed Shen Zichang, Xu Yan’s boyfriend. Their relationship in the drama was complicated and eventually ended in a breakup, but their chemistry clearly resonated with viewers.
After the drama became popular, Sun Qian and Tai Le were reportedly photographed together off screen. Footage circulating online showed the two hugging on the street, touching each other’s hair and later walking hand in hand toward a residential complex.
The footage immediately fueled speculation that the two had fallen for each other while working on the drama.
Fans of the pairing were particularly excited because they felt their favorite on-screen romance had possibly turned into a real-life relationship. Some even celebrated the possibility that Tai Le might actually be Sun Qian’s boyfriend.
Neither Sun Qian nor Tai Le ever publicly confirmed that they were dating. At the same time, neither appeared to make a major effort to shut down the speculation.
Sun Qian interacted with one of Tai Le’s friends on social media, while Tai Le was also seen supporting Sun Qian online. Their interactions gave fans more material to speculate about, although none of it amounted to an official confirmation.
Eventually, their public interactions became less frequent. Sun Qian was later linked to other men, and the public generally assumed that whatever relationship may have existed between her and Tai Le had ended.
Because neither actor confirmed their relationship, Tai Le is best described as a rumored boyfriend rather than a confirmed ex-boyfriend of Sun Qian.
Zhang Xincheng
Another name associated with Sun Qian’s dating rumors is Zhang Xincheng.
The two starred together in the 2023 film All These Years (《这么多年》), playing the central couple Chen Jianxia and Li Ran.
Their chemistry quickly became one of the most talked-about aspects of the film. Romantic scenes, including a kiss, received considerable attention during the promotional campaign, while their interactions behind the scenes also made fans believe that the two had unusually natural chemistry.
That led to speculation that Sun Qian and Zhang Xincheng might have developed feelings for each other while filming.
However, there was never any official confirmation that Zhang Xincheng was Sun Qian’s boyfriend.
The speculation was also complicated by Zhang Xincheng’s long-running association with actress Li Landi. As a result, the Sun Qian-Zhang Xincheng rumors remained largely based on their on-screen chemistry and promotional interactions.
Unlike the rumors involving Tai Le and Chen Jingke, there was no widely reported footage showing Sun Qian and Zhang Xincheng behaving like a couple in their private lives.
Zhang Xincheng therefore remains a name linked to Sun Qian’s relationship rumors, but there is no solid basis for describing him as her confirmed ex-boyfriend.
Chen Jingke
Chen Jingke became the most prominent name in the history of Sun Qian’s boyfriend rumors.
The two worked together in the 2024 drama Islands (《烟火人家》), with Sun Qian playing Tao Shuna and Chen Jingke portraying Zhang Xiaoyan. Their characters were a young couple, and their chemistry quickly became one of the drama’s most popular talking points.
The pair also appeared particularly close during promotional activities.
Sun Qian and Chen Jingke frequently interacted in playful and affectionate ways in front of cameras. One particularly memorable moment showed them holding hands, while another showed Chen Jingke feeding Sun Qian tangyuan.
Their natural-looking interactions led many viewers to start shipping them not only as an on-screen couple but also as a potential real-life couple.
Some fans even began looking for hidden clues in their social media activity, interpreting seemingly ordinary details as hints that the two were romantically involved.
The rumors became much more serious when media outlets reportedly photographed Sun Qian and Chen Jingke returning to the same apartment building on two consecutive days.
Celebrity paparazzo Liu Dazhu then claimed that the two had been living together for some time. According to his account, the apartment was actually Sun Qian’s home and the pair had essentially been staying there together.
That report turned Chen Jingke from simply being Sun Qian’s popular co-star into the man most strongly associated with her rumored love life.
Still, neither Sun Qian nor Chen Jingke ever publicly confirmed that they were in a relationship.
The situation changed in 2025.
On June 15, 2025, netizens noticed that Chen Jingke had unfollowed Sun Qian on Instagram. The move immediately triggered speculation that the two had broken up.
The timing attracted particular attention because their once-frequent interactions had already become much less visible.
The unfollow therefore became one of the biggest signs cited by fans and entertainment media when discussing a possible breakup between Sun Qian and Chen Jingke.
In 2026, the breakup rumors resurfaced with another claim from Liu Dazhu that the two had actually separated some time earlier and had already gone their separate ways.
The latest reports therefore suggest a relationship that allegedly went from strong on-screen chemistry to rumored cohabitation and eventually an apparent breakup.
However, because Sun Qian and Chen Jingke never officially confirmed that they were a couple, it is still more accurate to describe Chen Jingke as her most prominent rumored boyfriend rather than a confirmed former boyfriend.
The Mystery Man
Another chapter in the Sun Qian boyfriend rumors involved a man whose identity was not immediately known.
In December 2024, a video showing Sun Qian walking with a mystery man went viral online. The footage prompted renewed speculation about Sun Qian’s relationship status, especially because her rumored relationship with Chen Jingke was still a major topic at the time.

The man’s identity was not immediately clear, leading some people to speculate that he might be Sun Qian’s new boyfriend.
The story resurfaced in 2025 when another video showed Sun Qian returning home with the same man. In the footage, the man appeared to have his arm around her shoulders as they walked toward the residential complex.
This time, however, Sun Qian’s studio quickly addressed the speculation.
On July 29, 2025, her studio stated that the man was simply a friend who lived in the same residential complex. It rejected the interpretation that the two were romantically involved and said it reserved the right to pursue legal action over what it described as false interpretations.
The clarification means the mystery man should not be listed as Sun Qian’s boyfriend.
Nevertheless, the incident remains relevant when looking at the history of Sun Qian relationship rumors because the footage generated widespread speculation before her studio explained who the man was.
Co-Stars With Strong Chemistry, But Not Rumored Boyfriends
Sun Qian has also developed strong chemistry with several male co-stars. However, not every actor she has been paired with should be considered a rumored boyfriend.
Some of these pairings became popular simply because their characters worked well together on screen.
Ou Hao — Wild Bloom
Sun Qian and Ou Hao worked together in the 2022 drama Wild Bloom (《风吹半夏》).
Their characters had an engaging dynamic that led some viewers to ship them. The pairing attracted attention because of their natural chemistry in the drama.
However, there is no substantial evidence that Ou Hao and Sun Qian were romantically involved off screen.
Ou Hao is therefore better categorized as one of Sun Qian’s co-stars with strong chemistry rather than a rumored boyfriend.
Johnny Huang — Love Song in Winter
Sun Qian later starred opposite Johnny Huang in the 2024 drama Love Song in Winter (《冬至》).
The two played the central couple, and their chemistry became one of the drama’s selling points.
Their pairing generated plenty of discussion among viewers, but there has been no official confirmation or substantial evidence that Johnny Huang was Sun Qian’s boyfriend in real life.
His name therefore belongs in the on-screen chemistry category rather than the list of men involved in serious Sun Qian dating rumors.
Who Is Sun Qian’s Boyfriend Now?
As of the latest available reports, Sun Qian does not have a publicly confirmed boyfriend.
Tai Le became one of the earliest major names linked to Sun Qian after the two were reportedly spotted displaying intimate behavior off screen in 2021.
Zhang Xincheng was later linked to her following their strong chemistry in All These Years, although there was never substantial evidence confirming that they were dating.
Chen Jingke became the most prominent name in Sun Qian’s rumored love life after the two starred together in Islands. Their affectionate promotional interactions, reports that they returned to the same apartment building and claims that they had been living together made the rumors much more serious.
However, signs of a possible breakup emerged in 2025 when Chen Jingke unfollowed Sun Qian on Instagram. In 2026, further claims surfaced that they had already been separated for some time.
Meanwhile, the mystery man seen with Sun Qian in 2024 and 2025 was identified by her studio as a friend who lived in the same residential complex, rather than her boyfriend.
So, if you are wondering about Sun Qian’s boyfriend now, there is currently no man who can be confirmed as her partner based on publicly available information.
Sun Qian’s relationship history also shows how easily strong on-screen chemistry can blur the line between fiction and real life.
In Sun Qian’s case, Tai Le and Chen Jingke were linked to her through reports of closeness away from the set, while Zhang Xincheng was primarily connected to her through their chemistry as an on-screen couple.
Meanwhile, Ou Hao and Johnny Huang are better categorized as co-stars who shared strong chemistry with Sun Qian rather than men who were confirmed or strongly linked to her romantically.
That is why the idea that Sun Qian “dates a co-star every time she makes a drama” should be taken with a grain of salt. Great chemistry can make audiences emotionally invested, but it does not automatically mean there is a romance happening behind the scenes.
If Sun Qian is currently dating someone, there has been no public confirmation of that person’s identity. And if she chooses to keep her private life out of the spotlight, that is entirely her right.
Ultimately, an actress’s personal life remains just that—personal. Rumors may be entertaining to discuss, but the status of a relationship is best left to Sun Qian and the man involved to confirm.
