LayarHijau – Chen Jingke may be known for his calm and mature image, but the Road to Success (灿如繁星) star revealed that he’s always looking for new experiences. According to the actor, trying things he’s never done before is one of the ways he keeps life interesting.
In an interview with Sohu Entertainment, Chen admitted that his curiosity comes from a simple reason—he gets bored easily.

“When I get bored, I just want to try things I’ve never done before. It gives me a fresh sense of excitement,” he said.
Despite enjoying new experiences, Chen described himself as an introvert.
When asked whether he would reach out to outdoor content creators after watching their vlogs to ask for recommendations or travel tips, Chen laughed and said that’s simply not something an introvert would do.
“An introvert wouldn’t do that,” he said.
However, he added that he wouldn’t turn down an invitation if someone else made the first move.
“If a friend invited me and I happened to be free, I’d probably go,” he said.
During the interview, Chen was also asked who he thought would make a good coach for a hypothetical challenge involving 100 different sports. He immediately named Victor Ma and Wang Xingyue, before joking that he could also take on the role himself.
Although he enjoys exploring new activities, Chen said he doesn’t actively follow outdoor content creators. Instead, he’ll watch their videos only if they happen to appear on his social media feed.
Chen is currently starring alongside Esther Yu in Road to Success. He has also wrapped filming for On My Way (致我那菜市场的白月光) with Zhang Jingyi and Today I Still Haven’t Become a Doll (今天也没变成玩偶呢) with Chen Duling.
