The accusation came from a new post by Ye Feiye on November 3. She claimed that Guo Yuxin lived with and was romantically involved with Zhang Liren, her co-star in a short drama. However, while in a relationship with Zhang Liren, Guo Yuxin was also said to have cheated. Ye Feiye also claimed that many people in the short drama industry knew about it. She did not name the person said to be the third party in the relationship between Guo Yuxin and Zhang Liren.
According to Ye Feiye, she made the relationship claims in response to Guo Yuxin’s fans, who she said keep spreading sexually charged rumors about her.
Guo Yuxin’s side responded in an official statement. “Pure fabrication! We will pursue legal action to defend Ms. Guo Yuxin’s legitimate rights. The internet is not a lawless space, so don’t believe or spread rumors,” it read.
Guo Yuxin’s side also issued a statement from her lawyer. It demands that Ye Feiye immediately stop content it considers infringing and delete all posts it describes as rumors.
Guo Yuxin and Zhang Liren were first linked as a couple in 2024, after starring together in the short drama Flash Marriage, Dr. Gu He’s Celibate and Rich (闪婚后顾医生他禁欲又多金). They were reportedly spotted traveling together several times. However, they have never officially announced a romantic relationship.
The tension between Guo Yuxin and Ye Feiye dates back to May 2026. As Ye Feiye’s drama Chen Qiao Wei Wan (沉乔未晚) entered a key promotional period, Guo Yuxin posted promotional material for a rival drama, which split viewers’ attention. Their dispute then became public.
In June 2026, Ye Feiye accused Guo Yuxin in a long post of withdrawing from the drama Gui Lu (归路) right before filming began, causing the project to bear financial losses.
On October 16, during a livestream celebrating the drama Hao Yu Zhi Shi Jie (好雨知时节), the names of Ye Feiye, the director, and the male lead were reportedly blocked in Guo Yuxin’s livestream room. The next day, Ye Feiye responded on Weibo. She also said she once created a group chat and sent about a hundred messages while arguing with Guo Yuxin.
