Zhang Linghe also celebrated the season premiere by sharing a large set of photos he personally took during filming. He is well known for his interest in photography and often captures behind-the-scenes moments of his fellow cast members.
Among the photos he posted, a picture of Jin Jing placed in the center of attention drew the most reactions from fans. Jin Jing jokingly called Zhang Linghe her “personal photographer,” to which he responded by praising her natural charm in front of the camera.
However, the most viral moment of the episode came from Ding Chengxin.
While the members were discussing the phrase “你养我图什么,” a lighthearted question roughly meaning “if you’re willing to take care of or support someone, what is the reason behind it?”, the conversation initially remained casual.
Triggered by the word “养” (to support or take care of), Ding Chengxin suddenly recalled a famous line from the romantic drama Pursuit of Jade, starring Zhang Linghe and Tian Xiwei.
In the drama, Tian Xiwei’s character delivers the well-known romantic line: “I will slaughter pigs to support you.”
However, when Ding Chengxin attempted to repeat it on the variety show, he mistakenly reversed the wording, saying, “I support you to slaughter pigs.”
The slip immediately shifted the mood from romantic to unexpectedly dark and chaotic, as the meaning of the sentence turned absurd and almost horror-like.
It did not stop there. His second attempt made things even more confusing: “I raise pigs to kill you,” sending the entire studio into laughter as the romantic line spiraled into something resembling a thriller scene.
Only on his third attempt did Ding Chengxin finally manage to say the correct version: “I will slaughter pigs to support you.”
Zhang Linghe’s reaction to the chaos also became a highlight, as he appeared visibly confused by how a romantic line from his own drama had been turned into such a bizarre and unsettling version.
Meanwhile, Jin Jing was the first to fully catch the humor of the situation and laughed the hardest in the studio.
Netizens also joined the discussion, joking that the correct romantic version should simply be: “I will slaughter pigs to support you.”
