LayarHijau – The studio of Chinese actress Zhao Lusi has issued a firm statement addressing the unauthorized use of artificial intelligence technology involving her likeness. On April 27, the studio, through its official social media account, condemned the misuse of AI to manipulate and replace faces without permission.
According to the statement, several parties have recently used AI technology without proper authorization to extract and alter Zhao Lusi’s face. The manipulated visuals were then incorporated into the production, editing, and online distribution of short dramas.

In response, the studio has taken immediate legal steps by appointing a professional legal team to handle the matter. Evidence collection and preservation have already been completed for multiple short dramas suspected of infringement, including titles such as “Da *** Lao,” “Cai *** Xin,” “Zhan *** Gui,” and “Wan *** Chang.”
The studio further emphasized that it will pursue all necessary legal measures to hold the responsible parties accountable. It reiterated a zero-tolerance stance toward such violations and affirmed its commitment to protecting Zhao Lusi’s rights and public image.
