After the event, he was reportedly seen talking closely with a long-haired woman. At one point, he was said to have invited her multiple times to join him in his Ferrari, but she politely declined.
Speculation intensified the following night when the same media outlet claimed that the woman was later seen arriving alone at Wang Ziqi’s private villa. She was reportedly at the residence throughout the night and only left the following morning on April 29. This sequence of events quickly fueled online discussions suggesting a possible romantic relationship.
As the rumors spread across social media, Wang Ziqi’s studio released an official statement to address the situation. The agency clarified that the gathering was simply a normal social meetup among friends and urged the public not to misinterpret the situation.
“A few friends were just playing billiards together; it was a normal gathering. Please stop interpreting images selectively and spreading false information. Thank you,” the studio stated, asking netizens to remain rational.
Wang Ziqi, born in 1996, is a graduate of Beijing Film Academy. He rose to fame after starring in the hit drama The Imperial Coroner, which significantly boosted his popularity and established him as one of the rising young actors in the Chinese entertainment industry.
