On April 7, excitement erupted in Beijing as the production team held a special screening and fan event to promote the series. The four lead actors, Ju Jingyi, Joseph Zeng, Chen Duling, and Tian Jiarui, all appeared in person to build momentum for their new show. For her, this character has an emotional depth that is very interesting for the audience to explore further when the drama is eventually released.
“Lu Wuyi is very resilient, unafraid, and she definitely will not bow her head or surrender to fate,” Ju Jingyi stated confidently while explaining her lead role. She added a metaphor that captures the essence of her character to the media. “She is like a flower growing wildly; there is nothing she cannot do unless she herself does not want to. In my opinion, she is someone who can face pain directly, so there is no need for any specific change in mindset.”
