LayarHijau – Chinese actress Wang Yuwen has officially suspended all promotional activities for her latest drama, My Page in the 90s. The decision was announced by Wang Yuwen Studio through a firm official statement released on social media on January 25, 2026.
In the statement, the studio explained that the move was taken to protect the actress’s rights and reputation. Wang Yuwen Studio accused the promotional team working with the drama’s production of unprofessional conduct, including spreading defamatory claims about Wang Yuwen and deliberately damaging the relationship between her side and the cooperating platform.

The studio emphasized that Wang Yuwen and her team had consistently cooperated and actively participated in all promotional activities for the drama. However, the actions of the promotional team were said to have crossed the boundaries of reasonable cooperation, undermining trust and disregarding the efforts contributed by the actress and her team.
“Until the related issues are resolved in a fair and proper manner, we have decided to suspend all promotional work for this drama,” the statement read. Wang Yuwen Studio also noted that further updates would be announced depending on subsequent developments.
My Page in the 90s is Wang Yuwen’s latest project, co-starring Chen Xingxu. The drama has only recently premiered and quickly attracted public attention. Nevertheless, the specific details of the alleged defamation mentioned in the statement have not been disclosed, meaning the exact nature of the accusations remains unclear at this stage.

Shortly after Wang Yuwen Studio released its statement, the production team of My Page in the 90s issued an official response. In their clarification, the production team acknowledged serious mismanagement in their choice and oversight of the promotional team.
According to the production side, a preliminary investigation confirmed that certain individuals within the promotional team had indeed spread false information and made accusations against Wang Yuwen without any factual basis. These individuals were also said to have conveyed defamatory claims to the platform without ever having direct contact with the actress, resulting in harm to her reputation.
The production team issued a public apology to Wang Yuwen, Wang Yuwen Studio, and all parties affected by the incident. They confirmed that the individuals involved had been dismissed and that cooperation with the promotional team had been terminated. The production team also pledged to conduct a comprehensive review of their promotional processes and internal supervision to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
As of now, the public is still awaiting further clarity on the situation, including whether Wang Yuwen will resume promotional activities for My Page in the 90s once the matter is fully resolved.
