According to the report, Johnny Huang—also known by his Mandarin name Huang Jingyu—and Wang Yuwen were seen attending a dinner gathering with friends. After the meal, the group reportedly continued their night at a bar until around 2:30 a.m.

Footage shared by a paparazzi account shows the two leaving separately after the gathering. However, they were later seen getting into the same car heading back to a hotel. It was also claimed that they took a detour route before arriving. Upon arrival, Johnny Huang (Huang Jingyu) and Wang Yuwen were spotted entering the hotel together.
The paparazzi further claimed that Johnny Huang was not seen leaving the hotel until dawn. Moreover, at around 10:30 p.m. the following night, he was reportedly seen returning alone to the same hotel to meet Wang Yuwen again. The video quickly fueled speculation about a possible romantic relationship.
Chinese netizens expressed surprise over the dating rumors between Johnny Huang and Wang Yuwen. The two have never worked together in any drama or television program, and many netizens admitted they were not even aware that the two knew each other or had any connection.
A few days earlier, Johnny Huang’s name had trended on Weibo after his ex-wife, Wang Yuxin, posted a cryptic message that was widely interpreted as a jab at actress Zhang Yishang, who had previously been accused of being a third party in their failed marriage. Now, a new rumor has suddenly emerged linking the actor to Wang Yuwen.
One Weibo user commented, “Wang Yuwen and Huang Jingyu? As far as I remember, they don’t even know each other. The only person who could possibly connect them is Wang Ziqi. Over the years, Wang Ziqi has been far more associated with Wang Yuwen, while he has had almost no connection with Huang Jingyu.”
Responding to the rumors, Johnny Huang firmly denied the claims. He said, “Thank you for your attention. The information circulating online is not true. It was just a normal gathering among friends, and there is no need for over-interpretation.”
Wang Yuwen also issued a similar statement, saying, “The so-called ‘exposé’ circulating online is not true. It was simply normal social interaction after a dinner with friends. We are just friends, so please do not over-interpret it.”
