LayarHijau – Chinese actors Xing Zhaolin and Lu Yangyang are once again in the spotlight after a Weibo user claimed to have seen the two together at a hospital on Sunday night (July 13). The post quickly went viral, sending their names trending across the platform and reigniting long-standing rumors about their romantic relationship.
“I ran into Xing Zhaolin and Lu Yangyang at the hospital together. They were previously rumored to be in a relationship . They once traveled to Thailand together and appeared at the airport together and returned home together! Although neither party has officially announced it yet, all signs indicate that they are still together~ (Is going to the hospital a sign of good news? [Raises hand])”

A Drama That Brought Them Together
Speculation about their romance began when the two starred in the romantic web drama The Quirky and the Charming (《我的差评女友》), which was filmed in 2023 and released on Tencent Video and WeTV in March 2024. In the series, Xing Zhaolin plays a perfectionist hotel manager who crosses paths with a bold and unpredictable woman played by Lu Yangyang. Their on-screen chemistry quickly caught fans’ attention, with many believing their closeness extended off-screen.
Timeline of Rumored Relationship
After filming wrapped, their interactions continued during promotional events. In March 2024, they appeared in joint livestreams and public interviews, further fueling fan speculation. The following month, they were seen vacationing together in Thailand and returning home on the same flight. Additional sightings at the airport and a bakery in the months that followed kept rumors alive.
Now, this latest alleged hospital visit has sent online speculation into overdrive once again.
How Netizens Are Reacting
Reactions to the post on Weibo have been mixed. Many fans expressed excitement, wondering if the hospital visit could be tied to a significant personal milestone like a wedding or pregnancy. “Could they be announcing something soon?” one user wrote. “They look more like a real couple every day,” added another.
Others responded with caution, reminding people not to jump to conclusions. “Maybe it’s just a routine checkup,” some users said. “It could be a coincidence, like every time a drama airs, rumors follow.”
Meanwhile, some expressed concern, hoping the hospital visit wasn’t due to illness. “Wishing them good health,” one fan commented. Fans of Lu Yangyang in particular shared that they were slightly worried but hopeful all was well.
There were also neutral voices, with users saying that celebrities visiting hospitals shouldn’t be sensationalized. “As long as they’re happy, that’s what matters,” a Weibo user wrote.
Still No Official Response
As of this writing, neither Xing Zhaolin nor Lu Yangyang has issued a statement addressing the sighting or the renewed dating rumors. With no confirmation or denial from either party, fans remain in suspense, wondering if this latest event might finally push them to go public—or if the mystery will linger a little longer.
