LayarHijau – Chinese short drama stars He Congrui and Liu Nian have once again become the center of attention after Weibo users began widely discussing a video allegedly showing the pair together in an underground parking garage on September 13, 2026. The video itself was reportedly filmed on August 30, 2026.
In the video, the person recording unexpectedly spotted two people believed to be He Congrui and Liu Nian in the underground parking garage. The two were seen walking side by side, with the woman naturally reaching out to pat the man’s shoulder.

They then continued walking together. When an SUV passed by and they briefly stopped, the woman was seen reaching for the man before they continued toward the entrance. The interaction immediately sparked speculation that the two may still be together despite previous breakup rumors.
He Congrui and Liu Nian have starred together in several short dramas, including Please Come into My Heart (请君入我怀), Lingering in Mind (念念有词), and How Dare You! (成何体统). Their chemistry in these productions has earned them a large following as an on-screen couple.
Speculation about their relationship began on May 12, 2026, when fans noticed that He Congrui had removed a video featuring Liu Nian from the pinned section of his Douyin account. Liu Nian also deleted interactions related to him from her social media.
Their apparent decision to distance themselves from each other was widely interpreted as a sign that they had broken up. However, Liu Nian later explained that she had cleared the interactions in order to reduce her association with the couple, or CP, image.
At the end of June 2026, their relationship became the subject of discussion once again after rumors involving actor Chen Tianxiang emerged. At the time, allegations circulated claiming that Chen Tianxiang had become a third party in He Congrui and Liu Nian’s relationship.
Liu Nian and Chen Tianxiang quickly released lawyers’ statements denying the rumors. He Congrui, meanwhile, never directly responded to the controversy surrounding his personal life.
Now, after the video filmed on August 30 began circulating widely among Weibo users on September 13, speculation about He Congrui and Liu Nian’s relationship has heated up once again. However, the identities of the two people in the video have not been independently confirmed.
Some fans have also questioned whether the people in the footage are really the two stars, as the video only shows their backs. Neither He Congrui nor Liu Nian has commented on the video so far.
Still, many fans of the pair have enthusiastically welcomed the footage.
“Their relationship seems pretty stable. Everyone thought they had broken up,” one fan wrote.
“They’ve been doing well all along and things have remained stable. Wishing them happiness,” another commented.
Some netizens have even speculated that He Congrui and Liu Nian may never have actually broken up. According to this theory, the two may have simply chosen to keep their relationship more private following the previous rumors and controversies.
While the status of their relationship remains unclear, the video has once again given fans hope that the chemistry between He Congrui and Liu Nian may not be limited to their short drama collaborations.
