LayarHijau – Several custom-made haute couture stage outfits worn by Chinese actress and singer Zhao Lusi during her STAY ROMANTIC concert in Macau have reportedly gone missing. In response, concert organizer Chengdu Shaocheng Times Culture Communication (Shaocheng Times) released an official statement on August 1, confirming that the incident has been reported to the police.
According to the statement, Zhao Lusi STAY ROMANTIC – Macau concluded successfully after two performances held on July 11 and 12 at Galaxy Arena. However, while conducting a post-show inventory, the production team discovered that several of Zhao Lusi’s custom stage costumes could not be located.

“During the post-concert inventory, we discovered that several custom haute couture outfits worn by Zhao Lusi on stage were missing. Each piece carries unique design elements, making them not only highly valuable but also deeply meaningful to Zhao Lusi and the entire production team as cherished memories of the performance,” the organizer said.
Shaocheng Times said staff immediately reviewed surveillance footage from backstage areas and locations surrounding the venue after realizing the costumes were missing. So far, however, the investigation has not produced any useful leads.
“Immediately after the incident, we reviewed all surveillance footage from backstage and the surrounding areas of the venue. At this stage, no effective clues have been found. Given the significance of these costumes, we have officially reported the case to the public security authorities and will fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation,” the statement continued.
The organizer also appealed to the public for assistance, asking anyone who may have found or accidentally taken the costumes to contact its official Weibo account through direct messages.
“If you or someone you know has found or unintentionally taken these stage outfits, we sincerely ask you to contact us through our official Weibo account. Anyone who voluntarily returns the costumes will not be held legally responsible, and we will express our sincere gratitude for their goodwill,” the company stated.
At the same time, Shaocheng Times warned that it would take legal action if the missing outfits appeared on second-hand marketplaces, auction platforms, or any other public sales channels.
“If these custom stage costumes are found circulating in second-hand markets, auction platforms, or other public channels, we will exercise all of our legal ownership rights and, where necessary, pursue police reports and legal proceedings to protect our interests,” the organizer said.
The company also admitted that the incident resulted from serious shortcomings in its on-site inventory management and post-event inspection procedures. It issued a formal apology to Zhao Lusi and her fans for the mistake.
“The loss of these valuable stage materials was caused by serious negligence in our on-site asset management and final inspection process. Chengdu Shaocheng Times Culture Communication sincerely apologizes to Ms. Zhao Lusi, as well as to all the fans who have continued to support and trust us,” the statement read.
Looking ahead, the organizer said it will conduct a comprehensive internal review of its procedures covering stage equipment storage, inventory checks, security, and post-event archiving. It also pledged to strengthen its management system to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
