Episode 8 recorded a 43 percent increase in viewership compared to the premiere episode based on its first seven days of streaming. The achievement further solidifies the drama’s status as one of the biggest Korean series of the year.
One of the biggest reasons behind Perfect Crown’s popularity is the chemistry between IU and Byeon Woo-seok. IU plays Seong Hee-joo, while Byeon Woo-seok stars as Prince Yi-An. The romance between a wealthy heiress and a prince has kept viewers emotionally invested since the very first episode.
