LayarHijau– On May 18, the production team of the television drama Zhan Zhao Adventures (雨霖铃) held a promotional event titled “Douyin Chasing Drama Group” in Hangzhou. The main cast, including Yang Yang, Zhang Ruonan, Fan Yilun, and Zhang Yuxi, all appeared on stage to promote the series while engaging in lighthearted interactions with fans.
Zhan Zhao Adventures (雨霖铃) is adapted from elements of the classic wuxia IP “Three Heroes and Five Gallants” (三侠五义), featuring the legendary chivalrous figure Zhan Zhao as its central character. Set during the Northern Song Dynasty under Emperor Renzong, the story follows a conspiracy in which the Prince of Xiangyang secretly collaborates with various forces to plan a rebellion. Zhan Zhao, an imperial guard of the fourth rank portrayed by Yang Yang, is assigned to investigate a cold case linked to this conspiracy. During his journey to Xiangzhou, he meets Huo Linglong (Zhang Ruonan) and Bai Yutang (Fan Yilun), and together they work to uncover the truth behind a complex political scheme.

On stage, Yang Yang directly shared his thoughts about the character he plays.
He said: “Not only is he skilled in fighting, he also carries a lot and hides many things. That’s what really moved me—he is very restrained and controlled. If you keep watching, the story later on becomes really interesting.”
His comments further increased anticipation for the development of Zhan Zhao’s character in the drama.
The atmosphere became more relaxed when Yang Yang mentioned a trending joke involving Zhang Ruonan’s “Severn Ultraman” running style. He even imitated the movement on stage, drawing laughter from the audience with his mix of serious expression and playful gestures.
Yang Yang and Zhang Ruonan also joined in a “cute mode” moment, striking playful poses together, including cat boxing gestures, a rabbit-hug pose, and winking at the audience.
Meanwhile, Zhang Yuxi also caught attention by reenacting her signature whip scene from the drama, appearing both elegant and sharp in her character portrayal.
