LayarHijau — Chinese actress Wu Jinyan, 36, is reportedly expecting her second child. The rumor emerged after she was seen embracing her husband, Hong Yao, on the side of a street. As of now, neither Wu Jinyan nor her studio has issued an official statement confirming or denying the reports.
Chinese paparazzi photographed the couple hugging on the street while waiting for a designated driver after a gathering. In the photos, Wu Jinyan wore overalls, and her lower abdomen appeared slightly rounded. The look sparked speculation that she may be pregnant.

Some netizens say the speculation may not be accurate. They point out that loose overalls can easily make the stomach look more prominent, so her actual condition is hard to determine from a still photo.
Other netizens noticed that Wu Jinyan was wearing a short-sleeved top in the photos, even though the weather in China has recently turned cooler. They suspect the images are from a wrap party held several months ago rather than a recent outing. It has not been confirmed when the photos were taken.
Wu Jinyan gave birth to her first child, a daughter, in February 2025 and returned to public events in May 2025. She has recently joined the shoot for her new drama, Legally Ladies (刀笔娘子).
Wu Jinyan has never officially announced a pregnancy, including her first. This time as well, neither she nor her studio has issued a statement to confirm or deny the reports. However, a fan-run information account for Wu Jinyan posted a meme with text meaning “so funny,” a Mandarin pun. Some people saw the post as an indirect response to the rumor. There is no confirmation that the post was actually intended as a response.
