LayarHijau – The wuxia drama Zhan Zhao Adventures (雨霖铃) held a special offline promotional event themed around the martial arts world at Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden in Kaifeng, Henan, on May 14. Yang Yang, Fang Yilun, and Jiang Yi appeared at the event to meet fans in person.
Yang Yang drew attention with his gray embroidered blazer and sunglasses, while Fang Yilun appeared in a light-colored suit with a simple yet elegant style. Jiang Yi also attended in a gray suit and looked energetic throughout the event.

The three actors not only greeted fans on stage but also boarded a sightseeing boat on the Bian River to interact with fans waiting along the riverside. During his introduction, Yang Yang said, “I am Zhan Zhao from Kaifeng Prefecture,” prompting fans to loudly chant the character’s name.
The event continued with an interactive segment themed around a “martial arts tournament.” The cast discussed rankings of heroes in the drama, demonstrated sword-fighting movements, and shared behind-the-scenes stories from filming.

One of the biggest highlights came when fans asked Yang Yang to record a promotional line using Zhan Zhao’s voice and then imitate a cat. The actor looked shy at first before finally letting out a short “meow,” which immediately sent fans into hysterics.
Zhan Zhao Adventures is a mystery wuxia drama inspired by the classic tale The Seven Heroes and Five Gallants. The story follows Zhan Zhao as he investigates an old case connected to Prince Xiangyang’s rebellion. Along the way, he teams up with Huo Linglong and Bai Yutang to uncover a major conspiracy involving both the government and the martial arts world.
The drama premiered on May 13, 2026, on CCTV-8 and Youku and consists of 37 episodes. International viewers can also watch the series on platforms such as Viu, Viki, and Disney+ in selected regions.
Besides Yang Yang, Fang Yilun, and Jiang Yi, the drama also stars Zhang Ruonan, Zhang Yuxi, Yue Yang, Zhang Ming’en, Jiang Zhenhao, and Xiu Qing.
