LayarHijau – The latest interaction between Bai Lu and Dylan Wang has once again drawn public attention. This time, it wasn’t merely about her guest appearance, but the spontaneous moment when Dylan Wang immediately recognized Bai Lu’s voice on the reality show The Inn.
In a recent preview clip of the program, Bai Lu appeared as a surprise guest. She deliberately used a staff member’s phone and altered her voice when calling Dylan Wang. However, the attempt did not go as planned. The moment he heard the voice on the other end, Dylan Wang quickly responded, “It sounds like Bai Lu.” His swift and confident reaction instantly sparked discussions across social media.

The two previously starred together in the drama Only for Love (以爱为营). In the series, Bai Lu played Zheng Shuyi, a financial journalist who approaches Shi Yan—portrayed by Dylan Wang—a young CEO, with the intention of getting revenge on her ex-boyfriend. Although the storyline followed a familiar romantic setup, their popularity and on-screen chemistry helped the drama gain widespread attention and strong audience response.

Before the phone call clip went viral, Bai Lu and Dylan Wang were also spotted shopping at a market without any disguise during the filming of The Inn. Their casual discussion in front of a pork vendor was described by netizens as looking like an extra scene from Only for Love. Some even commented that Dylan Wang appeared as if he were still filming an idol drama, even while simply buying water for everyone.
After completing several acting projects such as Moonlight Mystique (逐月), Northward (北上), and Feud (临江仙), Bai Lu reportedly took a six-month break from drama productions. Her participation in The Inn became one of her activities during that hiatus.
In a separate interview for the show, Bai Lu also shared her thoughts on Dylan Wang as the inn’s owner. She mentioned that Dylan has his own fashion brand, which she believes reflects his leadership qualities. Bai Lu revealed that she has known Dylan Wang for five years and has often heard about his cooking skills. She expressed hope that she would have the chance to taste his cooking while staying on the show.
Although Bai Lu’s appearance on The Inn had been reported earlier, this new interaction has once again revived viewers’ fond memories of their collaboration on screen. Many believe their dynamic still feels natural and engaging, reigniting hopes that the two might reunite in another drama project in the future.
