The rumors began with a screenshot of an anonymous chat claiming that an actor surnamed Wang had undergone a genital enlargement procedure at a clinic in Shanghai. The post alleged that the procedure involved hyaluronic acid injections, which can be used as a filler to add volume and make the area appear thicker or increase its circumference. The claim was later linked to Dylan Wang and accompanied by allegations that the procedure had failed and caused complications. However, those claims have been denied by his side.
Dylan Wang’s Studio Denies the Rumors
Dylan Wang’s studio previously issued a denial after the anonymous conversation spread widely online. The studio said the information was false and reported the matter to the police for legal action.
The rumors continued to circulate online despite the denial. A medical institution that was also linked to the claims denied any involvement and said Dylan Wang was not a patient there.
As a result, claims that Dylan Wang underwent the procedure or suffered complications should not be treated as established facts. Details about the alleged injections and his purported medical condition originated from anonymous claims that fueled the rumor.
Dylan Wang Responds with a Joke
During the “Hello, Saturday” recording, Dylan Wang appeared in an anime-inspired outfit and seemed relaxed. He did not issue another formal statement or publicly name anyone accused of spreading the rumor.
Instead, he simply said that he was doing well and added that his “buddy” was doing well too. The remark was seen as his way of addressing the rumor without directly repeating the allegations.
Clips of his appearance quickly prompted reactions from viewers online. Many fans said they felt relieved after seeing Dylan Wang appear in good spirits, while others praised his humorous way of dealing with the controversy.
Some commenters said his brief response was enough to convey his message without requiring a lengthy explanation. By addressing the issue with humor, Dylan Wang also avoided repeating details of the allegations that his side had already denied.
