LayarHijau – After nearly three years out of the spotlight, Chinese actor Xu Kaicheng has once again become a trending topic. This time, his name surfaced not because of a new acting project, but due to rumors surrounding a possible new romantic relationship.
Entertainment media recently captured Xu Kaicheng driving to pick up a woman before the two were seen dining together. During the outing, Xu was observed attentively carrying the woman’s bag. A few days later, they were photographed visiting a massage place together and eventually returning to the same residence. The series of sightings quickly sparked speculation online that the actor may be dating again.

So far, the woman’s identity has not been revealed. This lack of information has fueled public curiosity, especially given Xu Kaicheng’s controversial past. Many netizens immediately linked the rumors to the high-profile voice recording scandal that erupted in 2022.

At the time, actress Zhang Tianai released an audio recording accusing Xu Kaicheng of infidelity. Shortly afterward, Guli Nazha also spoke out, stating that she had been kept in the dark about his relationship status. The controversy severely damaged Xu Kaicheng’s public image, with negative labels following him and reportedly impacting his acting career, including reduced or edited appearances in several projects.
The recent rumors have divided public opinion. Some netizens questioned whether the internet has already forgotten past controversies, while others argued that romantic relationships are a private matter as long as no one is harmed. The debate quickly filled comment sections with opposing views.
In recent years, Xu Kaicheng has not completely disappeared from the entertainment industry. Earlier this year, he appeared on the acting reality show Everybody Stand By Season 3 (演员请就位3) in an apparent attempt to revive his career, though the response was relatively muted.
As of now, Xu Kaicheng has not issued any official statement regarding the circulating photos. Whether the sightings truly indicate a new relationship remains unconfirmed, as being photographed together does not necessarily constitute solid evidence.
Regardless of the truth behind the rumors, the situation once again highlights how difficult it is for public figures to rebuild trust. For celebrities and ordinary people alike, sincerity and responsibility remain essential in relationships, while audiences are reminded to approach unverified gossip with rational judgment.
