Dispatch reported on Friday (Oct. 2, 2026) that T.O.P and Nana had developed a romantic relationship. The two reportedly began dating around June, several months after first meeting through the music video project.

Their respective agencies subsequently confirmed the relationship.
According to T.O.P’s agency, the two first met while filming the music video and gradually became closer before their relationship turned romantic around June. Nana’s agency also confirmed that the two are dating.
T.O.P Personally Chose Nana for the Music Video
T.O.P and Nana first worked together in January, when Nana was cast as the female lead in the music video for “Studio54,” one of the title tracks from T.O.P’s first solo studio album, Multiple Perspectives (ANOTHER DIMENSION).
Nana reportedly asked T.O.P why he had chosen her for the role.
“I thought she suited it best,” T.O.P replied.
The two subsequently reunited in April when Nana appeared in promotional content for T.O.P’s new song on YouTube.
At the time, they still appeared somewhat awkward around each other. They even used formal language when speaking, suggesting that their relationship was still largely that of colleagues.
After that meeting, however, the two reportedly began communicating more frequently.
A source close to the pair told Dispatch that T.O.P and Nana had many things in common and became increasingly close through their conversations.
“They had many things in common. They kept in touch afterward, and I understand they began dating seriously around June,” the source said.
They Made Time for Each Other Despite Busy Schedules
Dispatch also reported that T.O.P and Nana spent private time together in Achuiul Village in Guri, an area known as Nana’s neighborhood.
The two reportedly made time to see each other despite their demanding schedules.
T.O.P was in the middle of his first solo tour after 20 years in the entertainment industry, visiting six locations across Asia. Nana, meanwhile, had recently released her Netflix series The Scandal and was preparing for her next project.
Their schedules did not prevent them from meeting.
On Sept. 24, for example, Nana attended Milan Fashion Week. Before leaving for Milan, she reportedly spent time with T.O.P in Achuiul.
Their dates were described as relatively ordinary. The pair reportedly took taxis together and stopped at a convenience store.
T.O.P wore a hat but did not otherwise cover his face, while Nana wore a mask covering only her mouth. Dispatch reported that neither appeared particularly concerned about being noticed by people around them.
The two were also reportedly seen together on the final day of September and again on the first day of October.
T.O.P was said to visit Nana’s neighborhood more often. When he had an official schedule, he reportedly traveled in his agency vehicle, while he used taxis when he had no scheduled activities.
T.O.P and Nana Share Similar Career Paths
The two also have several similarities in their entertainment careers.
T.O.P rose to fame as a member of BIGBANG, while Nana became known as a member of After School. Both were prominent second-generation K-pop idols who were active during the 2000s and 2010s.
They later expanded their careers into acting.
Both have also developed distinctive fashion identities, with T.O.P and Nana known for their individualistic and experimental styling.
A person close to the two told Dispatch that they had gone through similar experiences throughout their careers.
“From their debuts and activities to rumors and wounds, they have walked similar paths,” the source said. “They understand each other very well. They are working hard both in love and in their careers.”
Both Continue to Work as Singers and Actors
T.O.P returned to acting with Netflix’s Squid Game 2. He also resumed his music career as a solo artist in 2026.
His first solo studio album, Multiple Perspectives (ANOTHER DIMENSION), features 11 tracks, with “Studio54” among its two title tracks. Nana starred alongside T.O.P in the song’s music video.
Nana has also continued working in both music and acting. She released a solo album last year and recently presented a special fan song for her birthday.
Her acting career has continued to expand through projects including The Good Wife, Mask Girl and The Scandal.
What began as a professional collaboration on the “Studio54” music video in January has now developed into a romantic relationship. According to the Dispatch report and the agencies’ confirmations, T.O.P and Nana began dating around June 2026.
