As the video spread, the official Victor Ma fan club issued a firm statement on Weibo on November 30, stressing that the artist’s safety must never be compromised:
“Ensuring the personal safety and dignity of the artist in any situation is our most basic bottom line… We strongly demand that @哇唧唧哇 take this incident as a warning, fully upgrade and strictly implement all security measures, conduct thorough risk assessments for offline events, and prevent such threats from happening again.
