LayarHijau – Xiao Zhan and Zhang Jingyi once again captured public attention as the pair attended a well-known brand event together in Macau on November 27. Since starring in the popular drama Legend of Zang Hai (藏海傳), which aired this May, their names have continued to soar. It’s no surprise that their appearance on the same stage immediately sparked excitement among fans.
Photos and videos circulating on social media show their warm interaction backstage. Zhang Jingyi could be seen chatting cheerfully, while Xiao Zhan—standing at 184 cm—lowered his head to listen, occasionally smiling and even letting out a soft laugh at something amusing. That simple moment brought a wave of nostalgia to fans, reminding them of the deep chemistry the two showcased in the drama.

Their looks that night also drew attention. Xiao Zhan appeared casual yet charismatic in a gray-toned outfit paired with a white T-shirt and matching boots. Meanwhile, Zhang Jingyi exuded a trendy elegance in a short black dress layered with a black-and-white knit jacket and black ankle boots that accentuated her long legs. Standing side by side, their harmonious aura once again reminded the public of their characters’ romantic journey—from harboring hidden feelings to supporting each other through danger.
It didn’t take long before hashtags demanding a second season of Legend of Zang Hai began to trend. Many viewers felt the ending of the drama still left numerous unresolved mysteries. Among them was the matter of “Gui Xi”—the crucial item pursued by various factions—which Zang Hai took away, as well as the secret mission letter he left behind before disappearing with the character played by Zhang Jingyi. Fans believe these loose ends provide a significant opportunity to continue the unfinished story.
Although there has been no official announcement regarding a follow-up season, Xiao Zhan and Zhang Jingyi’s appearance together at the same event has fueled hopes that their collaboration will not end with the first season. Fans continue to hope that the natural chemistry they displayed in real life will return in the continuation of the drama that has already captured so many hearts.
With countless comments flooding social media, one message rises above the rest: please give us Legend of Zang Hai Season 2!
