LayarHijau – The upcoming Chinese costume drama Fight For Love (山河枕) is adapted from Mo Shubai’s popular novel of the same name. The screenplay is written by Wang Hong, with Zhou Jingtao and Qi Xiaohui serving as directors. Starring Victoria Song (Song Qian) and Ding Yuxi, the series marks Victoria’s long-awaited return to historical dramas after three years, this time exploring a forbidden romance between a general’s daughter and her “brother-in-law.” The drama also features veteran actress Chen Qiao En as a calculating and ambitious princess, adding more intrigue to the story.

Synopsis

Chu Yu (Victoria Song), the daughter of a great general, loses everything when her family is framed and destroyed. Her father dies in battle, and before her gravely injured brother passes away, he warns her that the truth behind their downfall is far from simple. Determined to uncover what really happened, Chu Yu disguises herself as the widow of the deceased eldest son of the Wei family and marries into the household.

The Wei family once suffered a devastating tragedy known as the “White Emperor Valley Massacre,” in which nearly the entire clan was wiped out. Only Wei Yun (Ding Yuxi), the youngest son, survived. At just fourteen, he was forced to shoulder the pain of his family’s annihilation and grow into a hardened young general driven by vengeance.

They soon join forces to uncover the truth behind the death of seventy thousand soldiers, facing political conspiracies and threats from invading forces.

As the story unfolds, their bond deepens—from distrust, to loyalty, to an unspoken love that defies the world around them. Through war and betrayal, they fight side by side, risking everything for love and justice.
