However, just as she seemed to be at the peak of her career, Zhao Lusi surprised the public during a livestream by revealing that she was not currently considering new roles due to “abnormal brain waves.”

Previously, Zhao Lusi had been involved in a contract dispute with her agency, Galaxy Cool Entertainment. During that difficult period, she suffered from chronic depression, which led to severe symptoms such as aphasia (loss of speech) and difficulty walking. “Every time I do a livestream or attend an event, I have to rest for a long time afterward—I feel completely drained,” Zhao shared.
She also revealed that recent brainwave tests showed a “full blue” reading, indicating low brain activity. Although her mood has stabilized compared to before, Zhao emphasized that she isn’t ready to return to filming yet. “Right now, my health is my top priority. I want to let my body and emotions fully stabilize first,” she explained as reported by World Journal.
Fortunately, with reduced stress, her skin condition has significantly improved. Zhao said that her allergic reactions—rashes and hives that used to flare up frequently—have almost completely disappeared this year.
