LayarHijau — The November issue of BAZAAR China, with Zhao Lusi on its cover, reportedly sold nearly 250,000 copies in a single day. Sales totaled about 12 million yuan (about $1.8 million). Chinese media say the figure breaks the magazine’s sales record for an artist.
Zhao Lusi appears on two solo covers, wearing pieces from Valentino’s 2027 Early Spring collection and jewelry from Chow Tai Fook. Valentino’s official Weibo account posted the cover on Nov. 2. According to reports, sales passed 10 million yuan (about $1.5 million) within 12 hours, and a Valentino shawl she wore reportedly sold out.

Some reports say Zhao Lusi has officially become a Valentino ambassador. However, according to Chinese media reports as of Nov. 5, the brand has not announced such an appointment. So far, Valentino has only posted the magazine cover on its official account, and her ambassador status remains reported but unconfirmed.
On the acting front, Zhao Lusi is preparing to return after about two years away. Youku included Gao Bie Xin (告别信) — Farewell Letter on its 2027 lineup, announced Sept. 16, with Zhao Lusi as both director and lead actress. The drama is adapted from a German novel. A start date for filming has not been announced.
Zhao Lusi is also said to be set to film the fantasy costume drama Zhi Suo Shi (执梭师) — Shuttle Holder next year. No official announcement about the project has been made.
Zhao Lusi and Peng Guanying star together in Almost Lover (恋人), adapted from the novel Liu Yu Wu Yang by Hera Qingqing. The story follows Ruan Yu (Zhao Lusi) and Teng Yi (Peng Guanying), who meet and part repeatedly at different stages of life before finally ending up together.
Filming stopped in late 2024 after Zhao Lusi fell ill and received medical treatment. The episode count was later cut from 24 to 14. The production is now credited to Youku Media, and original director Deng Ke is reportedly no longer listed on the poster. The drama has also reportedly cleared censorship review and is said to air around the 2027 Lunar New Year. Youku has not announced an official air date.
