LayarHijau – Liu Yuning, the rising actor and singer who gained fame through hit dramas like A Journey to Love (一念关山), The Story of Pearl Girl (珠帘玉幕), The Prisoner of Beauty (折腰), and A Dream Within A Dream (书卷一梦), recently made headlines for a humorous moment during his 2025 concert tour in Shenzhen. In the middle of his performance, fans began cheering for him to take off his jacket—and his lighthearted response quickly went viral across Chinese social media.
Dressed in a long, elegant white coat, Liu cut a dashing figure as he took the stage. But not long after, fans began chanting for him to remove it.

Trying to play it cool, Liu jokingly stalled, saying, “I kind of want to, but I don’t think it’s necessary yet. Plus, this jacket is expensive.” The crowd burst into laughter.
Spotting a female fan’s face projected on the venue’s big screen, he added, “The camera’s on you. Better be careful—your mom might scold you later for going to a concert and yelling at someone to take off their clothes.”
Eventually, giving in to the crowd’s cheers, Liu took off his white coat—only to reveal a surprise underneath: a sheer black lace shirt. The unexpected look sent the audience into a frenzy of cheers and screams. Laughing a bit sheepishly, Liu commented, “If I had known this would happen, I would’ve worked on my muscles a little.”
According to World Journal, video clips of the moment quickly went viral online, with netizens joking about his playful charm and stylish outfit.
Amid the light-hearted mood, Liu also took a moment to reflect on his journey. He shared that more than a decade ago, he had worked in Shenzhen earning just 800 yuan a month. Now, he was back in the same city—this time as a headlining performer.
Throughout the night, Liu gave an energetic, all-out performance, singing and dancing across the stage. He expressed deep gratitude to his fans for sticking with him, saying, “I’m thankful I didn’t give up on my dreams back then. It’s okay to move slowly, as long as you don’t stop.”
His sincerity resonated with the audience, further endearing him to fans who admire not only his talent but also his humility and perseverance.
