This woman previously starred in the film Pegasus and the drama The Flaming Heart. As the video went viral, Zhou Linjia swiftly denied the paparazzi’s claims. She wrote on Weibo, “The woman in the video is not me. My face is too ordinary (right?).”

The actress’s quick denial surprised Weibo users. “The rumors were denied so fast. I’m shocked,” commented one user in response to her statement.

“All beautiful women have similarities, but you have your own uniqueness,” remarked another user, responding to the actress’s self-deprecating comment.

Upon seeing circulating photos of the mysterious woman’s identity, some netizens speculated that she might be an internet celebrity.

This led some to joke that William Feng might be becoming the next Huang Xiaoming 2.0, meaning he could be the second popular actor caught dating an internet celebrity.

As of now, the actor has not responded. His latest post is a promotion for his new drama Married, starring William Feng alongside Cai Wenjing.
