On the latest progress, Chen said filming has wrapped in Qingdao. “On July 31, (the drama) finished shooting in Qingdao and went straight into intense post-production. The production team, with Director Xu Hongyu at its core, really wants to deliver an audiovisual feast to the viewers who have been waiting, so there are a lot of technical challenges to overcome. We will go all out to bring it to everyone in 2027,” he said.
He also spoke about Linmon Pictures’ second collaboration with Xiao Zhan, the drama’s lead actor. “This should be a two-way journey between good content and a good actor. This is also Xiao Zhan’s second collaboration with Linmon Pictures. Just look at Small Town Remedy (小城良方) recently. From working together, we feel that Xiao Zhan is very hardworking and professional. In The Infinite 10 Days, he also delivers a very high-quality performance,” Chen said.
Synopsis of The Infinite 10 Days
The Infinite 10 Days is adapted from the novel of the same name by the pen-named author Shachong Duiduiyuan. The story follows a group of strangers from very different backgrounds who wake up in a mysterious place called the Land of the End. There, they are trapped in a time loop that resets every ten days, with each cycle wiping their memories. To get out, they must survive a series of deadly trials themed around the 12 Chinese zodiac animals.
As the cycles keep repeating, some of them begin to awaken supernatural abilities known as Echoes. Xiao Zhan plays Qi Xia, the brilliant leader of the group. Using each person’s abilities, they fight their enemies, uncover the truth behind the Land of the End, and struggle to find a way home. The 24-episode drama is directed by Xu Hongyu, written by Jiang Feng, and produced by Linmon Pictures together with Tencent Video.
