She also launches a yak beef processing business and helps the villagers shift away from environmentally harmful work such as coal mining and poaching. Instead, they focus on ecological production, paving a path out of poverty and toward prosperity.
A yak is a type of long-haired cattle native to high-altitude regions, especially Tibet, the Himalayas, and China’s western provinces like Qinghai and Sichuan.
