Best Friend’s Comment Fuels Breakup Speculation
A comment from her close friend—“I took the pictures, I wrote the captions”—sparked speculation that Li’s trip wasn’t with actor Zhang Xincheng, long rumored to be her boyfriend. Many interpreted this as a subtle confirmation that the couple had broken up.
In fact, breakup rumors had already surfaced as early as May 1, 2025, after fans left comments like, “Congrats on being single again,” under her Weibo posts. But some netizens speculated that Li Landi’s move came just ahead of the release of her upcoming drama. They suspected she might be following in the footsteps of Wang Yuwen, who was rumored to have broken up with her boyfriend shortly before the premiere of her drama with Wan Anyu.
Sparking Trends: Fitness, Self-Love, and Anti Body-Shaming
Li’s appearance has also triggered new trends in fitness and self-empowerment. Her viral quote, “Controlling your weight is less important than controlling your life’s rhythm,” has inspired a surge in interest among young fans for core workouts and wellness routines.
She received praise for challenging traditional beauty ideals that favor pale, thin figures. Her personal motto—“Eat till you’re full, sweat till you’re spent”—resonates with the growing body positivity movement embraced by the younger generation.
Divided Reactions from Netizens
While many applauded her new image as a sign of growth and authenticity, others expressed nostalgia for her more innocent look and voiced concerns about her influence on teenage fans.
Responding to both sides, Li Landi shared a thoughtful message: “Every stage of life has its own beauty; what matters is staying true to yourself.”
Bali Likely Filming Location, with Sumba as a Private Alternative
Although no specific location has been confirmed, Chinese media and netizens widely suspect Bali as the primary setting—based on the tropical waterfall backdrops and resort-style aesthetics. Some also pointed to Sumba Island as a possible private getaway, citing its reputation for secluded luxury.
