LayarHijau – Actress Park Ji-hyun has made history as the first Korean actress to receive an acting nomination at the International Emmy Awards. She was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress for her role in the Netflix series You and Everything Else.
The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 54th International Emmy Awards on September 23. Park Ji-hyun earned her nomination for her performance in You and Everything Else, which was released by Netflix in September last year.

You and Everything Else follows two lifelong friends whose relationship is shaped by mutual affection and admiration, as well as jealousy and resentment. Park Ji-hyun portrays a character across different stages of her life, from a college student in her 20s to a woman in her 40s living with a terminal illness.
In the Best Performance by an Actress category, Park Ji-hyun is nominated alongside Mona Mina Leon of Belgium for Holy Sh!t, Bárbara Mori of Mexico for Lucca’s World, and Sheridan Smith of the United Kingdom for I Fought the Law.
Park Ji-hyun is the first Korean actress to receive an International Emmy nomination in an acting category. Korean actors, including Jang Hyuk and the late Lee Sun-kyun, have previously received nominations in acting categories.
South Korea also received a nomination through Hyper Knife. The Disney+ series starring Park Eun-bin and Sol Kyung-gu was nominated in the TV Movie/Mini-Series category alongside The Anatomy of a Moment from Spain, Oxygen Masks Will Not Drop Down Automatically from Brazil, and Prisoner 951 from the United Kingdom.
The 54th International Emmy Awards ceremony will take place in New York on November 23, 2026.
