LayarHijau – Liu Yifei, Taiwanese pop superstar Jolin Tsai, Wu Lei, and several other high-profile celebrities stepped out in style for a glamorous jewelry gala in Shanghai on Monday, September 7. With some of the biggest names in entertainment in attendance, the event was a magnet for cameras and media attention.
One notable absence, however, was Zhang Linghe. The actor had been expected to join the star-studded lineup but did not appear on the red carpet or at the evening gala, disappointing many fans who had been looking forward to seeing him at the event.

According to reports, Zhang is currently busy filming his upcoming drama Revenge (《刺棠》), with the production operating on a particularly demanding schedule. His absence from the event was also reportedly intended to help maintain order and avoid potential safety concerns caused by large crowds of fans gathering at the venue.
Even though he was unable to attend the gala in person, Zhang Linghe still made time to fulfill his commitments as a brand ambassador. Earlier in the day, he attended a private viewing of the exhibition and completed a promotional photoshoot for the event.
Dressed in a sleek black ensemble and adorned with high jewelry, Zhang projected an effortlessly sophisticated, aristocratic charm. He also recorded a special voice message in advance to help build anticipation for the event.
His deep and elegant voice quickly caught the attention of fans online, with the audio clip spreading widely across social media and generating plenty of buzz. While many fans were initially disappointed by his absence from the evening event, they ultimately expressed their understanding and support, praising the actor’s dedication to his work and his busy filming schedule.
