According to information circulating on Weibo, the Zuhair Murad gown was lent directly by the fashion house, and Dilraba was the first person in the world to wear it. She also wore Mikimoto jewelry, but not as a necklace. It was styled as a forehead ornament, a pearl chain paired with a high updo.
Netizens call Dilraba the “Goddess of the Red Carpet.” According to information circulating on Weibo, she has worn a total of 94 haute couture looks, the most among actresses born between 1990 and 1995. The same information says her golden mermaid gown at last year’s W gala was named by foreign media as one of the best looks of 2025, and that she was the only Asian representative on the list.
One netizen commented, “Clothes can never overshadow her.” According to Weibo, the hashtag about the “Goddess of the Red Carpet” title for Dilraba quickly hit No. 1 on the trending search list.
Near the end of the red carpet, Liu Yifei appeared as the closer. It was the third year in a row she has closed the VOGUE red carpet. She wore a black-and-gold feather haute couture gown from Elie Saab’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, paired with Bulgari jewelry and a vintage-style updo.
The color of her gown shifted in a gradient from nude pink to black, with layers of stacked feathers. Under warm light, the gold feathers shimmered against the black base. Her silhouette, which resembled a phoenix spreading its wings, led netizens to dub her the “Phoenix Goddess.”
The phoenix is not a new symbol for Liu Yifei. At the premiere of the film Mulan (花木兰), she wore a golden phoenix gown that was then read as a symbol of breaking through limits and rising again. This time, the black-and-gold gown conveyed a calmer, more substantial presence.
