LayarHijau – AMATA has announced that Crescent Tower: RISING will be coming to PC via Steam. The game will be published through AMATA Games, the company’s indie game publishing label.
Crescent Tower: RISING is an open-dungeon RPG that combines retro 8-bit-inspired pixel art with challenging command-based battles. While the game carries over systems from its predecessor, it introduces several new features, including a five-chapter omnibus story following different protagonists, a character progression system with 14 classes, and a new feature called Skill Blocks.

A Mysterious Tower That Appears Every 50 Years
The story takes place in the royal capital of Maridam, where an unexplored dungeon known as the Crescent Tower is said to appear once every 50 years.
No one knows what awaits at the top of the mysterious tower. Some rumors claim that a jewel capable of granting wishes lies within, while others speak of a potion that can grant eternal youth.
A man once considered to have come closer than anyone else to completely conquering the tower left behind a record of his adventures known as the Courage Exploration Record. His writings inspire a new generation of adventurers to set out in search of the tower’s secrets.
The game combines retro graphics and sound reminiscent of the 1980s with classic RPG mechanics, aiming to deliver a nostalgic experience with a fresh adventure.
Five Chapters, Multiple Protagonists
Crescent Tower: RISING tells its story across five chapters, with each chapter featuring different protagonists and dungeons.
The characters come from vastly different backgrounds, including their birthplace, race, and profession. As their individual journeys unfold, they eventually come together as companions united by a shared goal: conquering the dungeon in its entirety.
Combat uses a straightforward command-based system inspired by classic RPGs. Each character also has unique commands that add variety to battles and give different party members distinct roles.
14 Classes and Customizable Skills
Players can freely build their party from 14 different classes. Skills learned through each class can then be combined using the new Skill Block system, allowing players to customize their characters and create party builds suited to their preferred playstyle.
Exploration is another major part of the experience. The game features a mapping system that makes keeping track of explored areas important when venturing through fields and dungeons.
As players gradually fill in their maps, they may also uncover new discoveries along the way.
15–25 Hours of Gameplay
Crescent Tower: RISING is expected to offer approximately 15 to 25 hours of gameplay. The game is being developed by かれーころっけ (Curry Croquette) and published by AMATA Games.
The Steam version will support Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, German, and French.
A release date and price have yet to be announced. The game’s age rating is also still pending review.
