The keyboard was first unveiled in Japan on August 12, 2026, with a price of ¥37,980. Razer followed that announcement with a global launch on August 20, positioning the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile TKL 8KHz as the world’s first low-profile analog optical esports keyboard.

Designed with competitive gaming in mind, the keyboard combines adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger technology and an 8,000 Hz polling rate in a thinner tenkeyless form factor.
Global Pricing
The Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile TKL 8KHz is now listed through Razer’s official stores in several major markets.
In the United States, the keyboard is priced at US$229.99. In Canada, it costs CA$319.99, equivalent to roughly US$234.
The UK price is £229, or around US$307, while the European price is €259.99, equivalent to approximately US$303.
In Australia, the keyboard is priced at AU$399.95, or roughly US$263.
Razer has also launched the keyboard in several Asian markets, including Malaysia, where it is priced at RM1,149, equivalent to around US$262.
The original Japanese price of ¥37,980 is equivalent to approximately US$256 based on current exchange rates.
These US dollar conversions are approximate and can vary depending on exchange rates, taxes and regional pricing policies.
Low-profile Analog Optical Switches
The main highlight of the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile TKL 8KHz is Razer’s new low-profile analog optical switches.
Users can adjust the actuation point anywhere from 0.1 mm to 2.8 mm, allowing them to customize how quickly each key registers an input.
The switches have a total travel distance of 2.8 mm, giving the keyboard a shorter and faster feel compared with many conventional mechanical gaming keyboards.
The keyboard also supports Rapid Trigger Mode, which allows keys to register again based on their movement rather than waiting for them to return to a fixed reset point.
This feature is particularly useful for games that require rapid and repeated directional inputs.
8,000 Hz HyperPolling
Another major feature is Razer’s True 8000 Hz HyperPolling technology.
According to Razer’s internal testing, the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile TKL 8KHz achieved an average latency of 0.39 milliseconds when configured with a 0.1 mm actuation point.
Razer claims this provides a 52% advantage over its closest competitor in the company’s testing.
The high polling rate is designed to allow the keyboard to report inputs more frequently, making it particularly suited to competitive gaming where fast response times can matter.
Snap Tap, Snap Flex and Dynamic Keystroke
The keyboard also comes with several input customization features aimed at competitive players.
Snap Tap allows the keyboard to prioritize the most recent directional input, while Snap Flex enables two different actions to be assigned to a single key depending on whether the key is pressed or released.
Dynamic Keystroke provides another layer of customization by allowing multiple actions to be assigned at different actuation depths.
Razer also includes Instant Cancel Control and Dual-Keypress Priority, giving players additional control over how simultaneous or conflicting inputs are handled.
Together, these features are designed to provide greater precision and flexibility, particularly in fast-paced competitive games.
A 19.5 mm Low-profile Design
Despite its performance-focused hardware, the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile TKL 8KHz has a relatively thin design.
The front of the keyboard measures just 19.5 mm in height. Razer says the low-profile construction is intended to provide a more natural hand and wrist position while reducing the amount of finger movement required during gameplay.
The keyboard uses a tenkeyless layout, removing the dedicated number pad while retaining the main navigation and function keys.
It also features Doubleshot PBT keycaps and Razer Chroma RGB lighting.
A multi-function digital dial and dedicated control buttons are included for quick access to various functions.
The keyboard uses a detachable USB Type-C cable and does not offer wireless connectivity.
Profiles and Synapse Web Support
The Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile TKL 8KHz supports onboard profile storage, allowing users to save up to six profiles directly on the keyboard.
Users can configure the keyboard through Razer Synapse 4 as well as Synapse Web, giving them the option to adjust settings through a web browser rather than relying solely on desktop software.
The keyboard also uses internal foam dampening, while the switches are factory-lubricated to improve the overall typing and gaming experience.
Already Used in Esports
Razer has also highlighted early esports use of the keyboard.
According to the company, MOUZ player Lotan “Spinx” Giladi used a pre-release version of the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile TKL 8KHz during BLAST Bounty Season 2, where MOUZ went on to win the tournament.
The keyboard has also begun receiving reviews following its global launch. Recent reviews have praised its combination of low-profile ergonomics and competitive gaming features, particularly its adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger and 8,000 Hz polling.
However, its premium price means the keyboard is primarily aimed at enthusiasts and competitive gamers rather than casual users. Reviewers have also pointed to its wired-only connectivity and the lack of an included wrist rest as potential drawbacks.
With its global rollout now underway, the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile TKL 8KHz is positioned as a high-end gaming keyboard that combines the speed-focused features of Razer’s esports lineup with the thinner profile and ergonomics of a low-profile keyboard.
