LayarHijau– Thai esports athlete Tokyogurl has officially been dismissed by esports organization TALON after being found in violation of competition rules during the women’s Arena of Valor (AOV) event at the 2025 SEA Games. The decision was announced on December 16, 2025, following her disqualification from the tournament by SEA Games officials.

In its official statement, TALON confirmed that it accepts and respects the findings and ruling issued by the Technical Delegate for the women’s AOV esports competition at the 33rd SEA Games, which took place on December 15, 2025. Tokyogurl, whose real name is Naphat Worasit, was found to have violated a key regulation during the competition and was subsequently disqualified from the event.

“TALON agrees with the findings and ruling of the Technical Delegate in the women’s AOV esports competition at the 33rd SEA Games. Esports athlete Ms. Naphat Worasit violated a key rule during the competition and has been disqualified,” the organization stated.

Tokyogurl was a member of Thailand’s national team competing in the Arena of Valor Women’s Team category, one of the official esports events at the 2025 SEA Games. In this event, Thailand was scheduled to face several strong regional contenders, including Vietnam and Indonesia, both known for their competitive presence in the women’s AOV scene.

However, Thailand’s campaign in the event came to an abrupt end following the emergence of technical violations. Discussions on social media on December 16, 2025, highlighted allegations that Tokyogurl had installed unauthorized software on official competition equipment. Such actions were deemed a serious breach of the SEA Games’ technical regulations.

In addition to the technical violation, Tokyogurl also drew criticism after inadvertently making an inappropriate hand gesture toward the camera during a live broadcast viewed across multiple ASEAN countries. Although the gesture was reportedly unintentional and her teammates attempted to stop her, the incident was still considered a violation of athlete conduct standards at an international multi-sport event.

As a result of these incidents, the Thailand Esports Association reportedly withdrew Thailand from the women’s AOV competition at the 2025 SEA Games, citing a violation of competition rules, including those outlined under regulation 9.4.3.

Following the ruling, TALON announced that it had terminated Tokyogurl’s contract, effective December 16, 2025. The organization emphasized that the decision was made as part of its commitment to professionalism, sportsmanship, and compliance with international competition regulations.

TALON concluded its statement by expressing appreciation for the continued support from fans and the wider esports community.
