LayarHijau – The suspense drama Eight Hundred (方圆八百米) held a special fan screening event in Beijing on April 21, with lead actors Ding Yongdai, Xu Kai, and Deng Enxi in attendance to promote the series.
Xu Kai turned heads in a stylish brown leather outfit, while Deng Enxi looked fresh and charming in a soft, feminine sleeveless top paired with light blue jeans.
The event featured lively interactions centered around the drama’s plot and characters. The cast also joined in several fun games, including ranking the importance of iconic character moments and an AI-themed facial feature puzzle.
One of the highlights came when Ding Yongdai was asked to close his eyes and take random photos using a phone camera. At the same time, Xu Kai and Deng Enxi had to strike specific poses while trying to dodge the lens. The audience actively participated by guiding Ding Yongdai’s direction, creating a cheerful and energetic atmosphere.
During the Q&A session, Ding Yongdai shared his admiration for his younger co-stars, admitting he was pleasantly surprised by their performances.
“I’ve mostly seen them in a certain type of role before, but this time they delivered something very grounded, simple, and real. I can see the valuable qualities young actors bring. I believe they will grow into truly outstanding performers in the future,” he said.
