LayarHijau – Chinese historical romance Blossoms of Power (百花杀), starring Meng Ziyi and He Yu, has enjoyed a remarkable start to its broadcast. The series quickly gained momentum, more than doubling its effective viewership share on its second day and rising to the top of the rankings among currently airing Chinese dramas.
According to Yunhe Data, Blossoms of Power debuted with a 7.1% effective viewership share, placing seventh among dramas airing during the same period. On Tencent Video, it also reached an in-platform popularity index of 24,683 on its opening day.

Its momentum continued to build on day two. The drama’s effective viewership share surged to 15.1%—more than double its premiere-day figure—allowing it to claim the No. 1 spot on Yunhe’s daily drama rankings. Its Tencent Video popularity index also climbed to 26,618, reflecting the show’s rapid rise.
The competition has been intense. Love for You (野狗骨头), starring Song Weilong and Zhang Jingyi, ranked second with a 12.4% effective viewership share, while Road to Success (灿如繁星), led by Esther Yu and Chen Jingke, came in third with 9.3%. Despite facing strong competition, Blossoms of Power pulled comfortably ahead of its rivals to emerge as the clear front-runner.

The story follows Gu Qingzhi, the Princess of Zhaoning Commandery, whose family is destroyed in a devastating tragedy. After assuming the identity of Shen Xihe, she embarks on a carefully planned quest for revenge while navigating the dangerous world of court politics.
Her path eventually crosses with Crown Prince Xiao Huayong, who has spent years pretending to be physically frail to conceal his true ambitions. As they manipulate, test, and gradually come to trust one another amid escalating political turmoil, their uneasy alliance slowly blossoms into love. Together, they set out to eliminate corrupt officials and restore peace and stability to the kingdom.
