LayarHijau – Chinese actress Ai Mi (艾米), whose real name is Chen Aimi (陈艾米), has officially been admitted to the Acting Department of the Beijing Film Academy, one of China’s most prestigious film schools.
Ai Mi delivered an outstanding performance in China’s national arts entrance examination, scoring 83.5 points. She finished third nationwide as the sole candidate in that position while also ranking first among all female applicants. After meeting the required academic score in the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao), she officially secured her place at the academy.

The announcement comes as Ai Mi is attracting attention for her starring role in the historical romance drama Key to the Phoenix Heart. The iQIYI series, which premiered on July 11, features her as Xie Jiayu opposite Hou Minghao and marks one of the biggest leading roles of her career so far.
Although still young, Ai Mi has already built an impressive acting résumé. Her television credits include People’s Prosecutor, Rakshasa Street, Serenade of Peaceful Joy, Minning Town, Destined, My Journey to You, The Blood of Youth, Scent of Time, The Double, and A Moment but Forever.
On the film side, she has appeared in The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity, The Battle at Lake Changjin, Creation of the Gods II: Demon Force, and Stephen Chow’s latest film, Kung Fu Soccer.
Ai Mi’s admission to the Beijing Film Academy marks another significant milestone in her career. Having already established herself through a wide range of acclaimed film and television projects, she is now set to further hone her craft at one of China’s leading institutions for performing arts.
